From the reviews
Very clean facility as well as a friendly - welcoming staff. I saw Dr. Shani for my sciatica. I was in so much pain for weeks. My insurance didn’t cover chiropractic care. Dr. Shani is amazing! Like magician level. I don’t know how he was able to subside the pain with one visit. I had treatment for several weeks.
I have never been healthier since finding Summit Health. I have been working with Dr. Husain and Hernan for about a year now. They have changed my life for the better. I have managed to reduce and eliminate medications and better manage my health conditions under their care.
I am a 68 year old guy. I've had a lot of doctors and doctor"s offices over the years. Summit Health Group is the best I've ever been associated with! From the front desk to the Doctors, Physician's Assistants, Nurses and Assistants, everyone is top notch, present and engaged.
We (my husband & self) have been coming to Summit Health Group for over 15 years! They have worked wonders for my husband's severe back pain & my neck pain. A dear friend recommended them to us. He said "I went in limping & came out Dancing!" All the staff are very loving & caring, YES! It's more like a family.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
