From the reviews
Okay I was skeptical and desperate my back was killing me and after research on the web it said some people experience relief with acupuncture. I decided to try it two weeks of not standing straight not being able to wash dishes or even blow dry my hair helped me decide what the heck.
Stephani has changed my life! Her acupuncture is so healing and has helped me with anything from a common cold to a high risk pregnancy. How could you not come here with its affordable rates and amazing relaxing environment. I hope everyone gets a chance to receive some healing love from stuck
Stuck has quickly become my self care body shop. If I'm feeling anything a little off in my body, I know Stef will get me right. She helped me bed, during and after my pregnancy and runs an amazing facility. Stuck is clean, friendly, helpful, welcoming and peaceful. You won't regret a visit.
Stuck Community Acupuncture truly is a part of the healthcare revolution. I was a little skeptical about what the environment would be like...would it be awkward being in a treatment area with other people, would it be comfortable, would I be able to relax? Those were just a few of the thoughts running through my mind.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
