What clients say about the cupping here
“The treatment felt both therapeutic and intentional, not just relaxing.”
From the reviews
I am so deeply grateful I found Jessica. I originally found her on Groupon, and going to her every other week has been a true saving grace. I’ve officially seen her three times now, and it has been the best thing I've done for myself.
Jessica is an incredibly talented bodyworker. She combines technical skill with a very intuitive understanding of the body. Every session feels targeted and therapeutic, and I consistently leave feeling lighter, looser, and more balanced.
I can’t recommend Jessica at Stretch and Structure Bodywork enough. This was my first experience here and she truly went above and beyond to tailor the massage to exactly what my body needed.
Jessica is a wonderful massage therapist. I had probably the best massage in my life tonight. So relaxed and relieved.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
