…As a person who likes to understand how things work, I find that she's great at explaining things and does well to use various massage methods (cupping, hot stones, etc) to work on different problem areas. I went to a yoga nidra with Cheley playing on the gongs this past Tuesday night and loved it. As someone that suffers from chronic pain and multiple surgeries from injuries it was slightly uncomfortable for me laying on the floor, but the gong's sound waves cradled my body and managed to pull pain out and away.
Had a wonderful experience getting pedicures here. The staff is wonderful. They were very attentive and wanting to make sure you are comfortable and happy with your experience every step of the way! We will definitely be back!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
