From the reviews
I had 2 treatments with Leslie for acupuncture & cupping related to a recent rotator cuff surgery. I was still having some stiffness & range of motion reaching behind my back. After a couple treatments, I feel great & rom has improved.
My experience with acupuncture with Leslie Meinert was amazing . She really takes the time to assess the issue of of the areas that need attention. She also used the suction cup procedure on my back , that felt so good to relieve the inflammation in my muscle in my back. I highly recommend her !!!!!
I saw Leslie during her training period in Columbus Ohio. Both of my lower legs have numbness all the way down into my toes. This has gone on for 7 years or so due to back surgery. She really listened to all my concerns and addressed each one.
I had such a relaxing experience with Leslie. I had been curious about acupuncture for some time, but I was nervous to try. When I needed assistance in regulating my menstrual cycles after kids and using a birth control implant and I had tried so many other methods, acupuncture called out and I took a leap.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
