From the reviews
I had a great experience with Hanna. I was suffering from wrist pain and noticed improvement after just a few sessions. Hanna took the time to identify the root of cause of my pain, explained her assessment clearly, and employed several therapies, including dry needling and cupping, to help me find relief.
Dr. Hanna takes the time to listen to you as a client. She carefully determines the best methods to address your concerns. She has helped me alleviate pain from back and hip issues through dry needling, cupping, targeted hands on work and exercise protocols to address alignment, etc.
I live over 4 hours away and had a virtual appointment with Hanna. I heard that Hanna worked with a professional trail runner in the past, so I trusted her expertise with helping serious athletes stay competitive.
I had been dealing with left shoulder and rotator cuff pain for well over 10 years before finding Hanna in Jupiter. I had tried other treatments in the past, but nothing addressed the real issue long-term. From the first visit, it was clear she takes a true root cause approach.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
