From the reviews
Dr. Christina is a wonderful practitioner. I came to her with very chronic and significant muscle pain, possibly from autoimmune flares. She is patient, compassionate and listens. She is also very thorough.
I had back surgery in July. Initially I felt great but several weeks later the severe pain came back. Surgeon recommended pain management with a nerve block injection. I opted for acupuncture and laser instead. I have had 4 visits with Dr. Christina so far and I'm thrilled with the results.
Dr. Christina is amazing! So much love and time given to her patients. Always take time to go over anything going on and focus on any problems along with a general balance. I feel healthy and better than I have in many years.
Acupuncture is extremely helpful with my hip and back issues. It has also helped with sinus and colds as well. Dr. Christina provides a very relaxing, meditative atmosphere. She expertly places the needles and you do not feel it at all. I have even gotten my husband in and she relieved his back pain.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
