Why Spora Healing Center is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “and I have been coming here for 5 months and we are seeing so many changes in our health and body. My husband is more energetic, lively, and healthy. From the reviews
I saw Dr Katherine Cheon yesterday, January 23, 2023 and received Ultra ionic cupping. It was amazing and I felt so much better afterwards. I also received acupuncture. Dr Katherine’s healing hands, knowledge, and expertise went directly to my challenges.
Was online and came across Dr Katherine‘s Haim Healing Center page and decided to make an appointment for my cousin. Wonderful Maria at the front desk helped me set up and appointment and got me in with my insurance IEHP and everything went smooth. Went to my cousins appointment for infertility and Dr.
I cannot thank Dr. Katherine Cheon enough for helping me with my physical condition. I was having trouble with tinnitus in my ear and had gone to many doctors to find relief for the pressure in my ear. I decided to try acupuncture to see if it would help.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
