From the reviews
I love Aby and her staff at the Avondale Spooner office. This is my second time this year going to them. They take their time with me and let me go at my speed but still push for more each time I am there. Aby is personally working with me and I really do appreciate that very much!
This is a place that has a very positive vibe as soon as you walk in. They know what they're doing, they make you feel very comfortable from the first time you visit. It's very clean. They seem happy to work here, and they do what they do with love for those of us who need their help. I feel happy to be with them.
The personal at Spooner is attentive and helpful to my needs. I feel welcome as I come in, it is good atmosphere .Therapists and assistants have been very helpful with my recuperation. God Bless you all, Maria J Garcia
I came in with neck & shoulder pain. After in few sessions my neck pain was no longer. I have been happy with the experience therapists and their plan of care, and follow-ups. Excellent, friendly and Experience staff, I do feel better after my session. I cannot say enough about this clinic.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
