This is my second time here. We did a couples massage for Christmas and to ring in the New Year. The staff here is extremely professional and though they stay pretty busy they try their best to accommodate your schedule and needs.
FIRST TIMER: An amazing first experience! Staff is so welcoming and helped me learn how things flow there. If you're uncertain what services to book though, don't book online. Call them and ask instead. I'm new at this and booked a skin treatment instead of a massage. Ha! It was still wonderful!
Our first couples massage (or really massage in general). My husband surprised me with this treat today and it was a 10/10! Beautiful space, lovely waiting area, warm neck wraps, hot tea, robes and spa vibes all around! We did the hot stone massages for 80 minutes and the time flew by!
Absolutely loved my experience at Spavia. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is so calming—the scents, the soft lighting, and the cozy robes instantly help you relax. Brooke was amazing. She’s incredibly skilled and intuitive, and I felt completely taken care of the entire time.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
