From the reviews
Great knowledgeable and friendly staff that helped me recover from old injuries that previous physical therapist failed to properly address. Aaron had the expertise and patience to listen to my concerns, frustrations, and goals to develop a successful plan to achieve those goals.
Justin and his staff have a great atmosphere here. Everyone was personable and friendly. They all work as a team to give you the best care possible. I really appreciate them taking me on and helping to fix my shoulder issues I had. I would highly recommend this bunch for your physical therapy needs. Thanks again.
South River is the best for any rehab from surgeries or injuries. Aaron Lam was my therapist and he is phenomenal. He would work closely and throughly with you making sure you were not over doing. And great at explaining how which i needed all the time. Wonderful group of people.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly Recommend Aaron at South River Rehab! I couldn't be happier with the results I got at South River Rehabilitation and Performance. When I first went in, I was dealing with persistent and frustrating back problems that were truly making daily life difficult.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
