From the reviews
I am not someone who will give 5* rating easily, and if you see my other reviews, you will know why! I came to this spot based on word or mouth and drove 70 minutes. I had pre-booked an appointment with Mr Widdi, whom I am told is the person to get your Hajama / wet cupping by.
Really impressed and grateful that this wellness center came to the neighborhood ! My wife and I enjoy wet cupping and in comparison to other places we really felt the professionalism, cupping knowledge, cleanliness of this facility! We had a great experience and will be coming back!
Excellent fast professional service. Cupping and red light therapy provided a female practitioner who is a Neurologist. Amazing astethics -see pictures 📸! Highly recommend!!!
I completed my first Hijama session at Soul Detox over the summer, and my symptoms resolved shortly after — it was truly effective. I recently returned for a second session, and once again, I had a wonderful experience. Nada, my practitioner, is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in Hijama.
Booking hijama (wet cupping) at Soul Detox
Soul Detox comes up as a provider that offers hijama — wet cupping, where the skin is lightly punctured after suction so a small amount of blood is drawn. If you're booking hijama specifically, a few things are worth asking before you go. First, sterility is everything — a reputable practitioner uses a fresh, single-use kit (new blades and cups) for every client and follows clean, gloved technique. It's completely fair to ask how they handle this. Second, many people booking hijama want a same-gender practitioner — a female practitioner is available here. Third, ask about aftercare and whether they observe particular days if that matters to you.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
