It all started when I went to get a professional massage and the masseuse suggested I see these chiropractors after telling her my story of a decades worth of pain in my neck and back. I could have sworn I had a broken rib, pulling my neck every month, getting out of bed like a 70 year old, as a 27 year old.
We had an absolutely amazing experience. We were in from Virginia for a soccer tournament and my daughter injured her knee. The clinic got us in same day and X-rayed and treated her. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and Dr Ray has an amazing bedside manner and took such good care of my kid.
RUN, don’t walk to get a massage with Jenn!! I was referred to her/Somerset Hills Chiro and I’m now a loyal client as well. Over the last year, my monthly appointments have helped support my running and yoga exercise, and have kept creeping back pains away.
I can’t thank them enough for their service and care! I’ve been going consistently since February with a lower back issue and of course daily stress of life!! They are the best and always adjust me back on track oh and help me relax!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
