From the reviews
I cannot recommend Daniel Burk and his team highly enough! Recovering from ACL surgery is a daunting process, but the care I’ve received here has been exceptional. From day one, Daniel and the entire staff have been incredibly professional and attentive.
Daniel, Darlene, and Kaitlin at Snyder Physical Therapy are amazing! You're always welcomed in with a warm greeting and seen promptly. Daniel has been helping me manage some joint pain through targeted strength training and stretching.
After two months of work with Dr. Burk and his staff, it is obvious that this team has put together something really special for the small town of Snyder, Texas. Not living in Snyder, I had options on where to complete my physical therapy post knee replacement. Dr.
Daniel and his team are amazing to work with! They are wonderful at listening and validating where I'm at and what I'm experiencing. They are also very compassionate and knowledgeable about so many things.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
