From the reviews
Emily is a true professional. Her massages are exceptional. She takes the time to listen & understand What will be helpful to you in a massage. She knows how to move things around without any pain & when you leave there, you feel brand new- You should definitely try Emily If you want a total massage that is enjoyable…
I am so impressed with Emily’s communication, dedication to her clients and knowledge of the body. I struggle with scoliosis that worsened during COVID. I’ve seen countless physical therapists, orthopedists, and physiatrists over the past 10 years and none have understood my body in the way that Emily has.
Emily, is very intuitive in knowing how to heal the body. Every time I am treated by her she helps me in more ways than I thought were possible, meaning mind, body and spirit! I suffer from old whiplash injuries and pain in my neck from constant computer work.
Emily has been my massage therapist for about a year, She is knowledgeable in her studies. Recently had an MRI and was finally able to properly diagnose my shoulder and I sent this info to Emily. She came back with a well written response for possible solutions. Her space is clean and comfortable.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
