I’m not sure but I think I was Shawna’s first customer. Her location is very convenient to my home in Coppell. I had been experiencing severe pain in my lower back. Once I explained and showed Shawna where the pain was; she attacked that area and the next day I was able to walk pain free.
I had such a great experience! The atmosphere was super relaxing from the moment I walked in, and the massage left me feeling lighter, refreshed, and stress-free. What I really appreciated was how caring and professional they were — it wasn’t just about the massage, but about overall well-being.
Went to see Shawna on a whim. So glad I did. Best massage I have received in the area by far. And I have been to many places. She uses many techniques that made my body feel right. Highly recommend.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
