What clients say about the cupping here
“She explained everything to me so I could understand.”
“Mash, he was incredibly gentle with her, ensured that if she was not out of alignment he would send us home, he would not treat her unless necessary.”
“Initialy, I was really nervous about care, but now I'd go to no one else!”
From the reviews
I was nearly at the end of my rope ... suffering with my insomnia! Someone suggested for me to see a chiropractor. ..and then I found Dr. Kim! I talked to her on the phone and decided to give acupuncture a try! I think I have been seeing her for a year now! When I first saw her ... I was miserable!
For the past two and a half years I have been limping and in great pain with my right leg. I went through physical therapy and the pain subsided a little bit. I finally went to Dr. Kim and found out that my hip was out of joint and my sciatica was flaring up. in one visit I walked out of Dr.
ALWAYS a GREAT experience! I just LOVE Kim! She was HIGHLY recommended by my sibling, who I trust completely. I've always NOT wanted to go to a Chiropractor. However, with the praise my sister gave Kim. And the trust I have for my sister, I went to Kim at Shakopee Chiropractor Center. I AM..SO GLAD that I did!
If I could give 10 stars I WOULD!!!!! I met Dr. Kim and staff a few months back, due to an auto accident that I was in. I feel that I am in great hands between Dr. Kim's care and the massage therapist Bebe and her staff. Initialy, I was really nervous about care, but now I'd go to no one else!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
