…I chose Ashley because she did Graston, Cupping, Myofascial Release, Deep tissue and other techniques. I explained what was wrong and it’s amazing how well I can move!! I went in once and had a pain in my left bicep and she did something on my right side and the pain was gone.
Can’t say enough about this practice. Superb therapists in a warm and comfy environment. I see Ashley and had cupping done recently. I’m dealing with a lot of grief and loss and the cupping helped tremendously. I felt more balanced, open and fluid. 10 stars for cupping and Ashley!
Went in as i had a gift certificate and had suffered an injury which i thought was to my shoulder/back in a fall. Ashley spent time with me and explained that she thought it was my neck and not my back. She was right. I left there with better range of motion and a better understanding of the how and the why.
I’ve seen Ashley to help with some chronic pain, and I couldn’t recommend someone more! She is absolutely amazing and very understanding and helpful with a very peaceful atmosphere!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
