I've recently had a tummy tuck done and needed to start doing the proper lymphatic drainage massages to keep everything healthy. Wow! Just WOW! Kal Savage must be a magician! 😱 I have been to see Kal several times. I was a tiny bit leery going to have any sort of treatment done because I struggle with a torn rotator cuff. And I have been putting off surgery🙈 I made an appointment for Some general pain that I was having in my back.
I'm an electrician by trade so I spend a lot of time working overhead which really takes its toll on my back and shoulders. A friend of my wife recommended Savage Massage Theraphy and so glad she did! Kal's hands are absolute magic!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
