From the reviews

Venus is a natural healer and gives the most amazing massages! I've had several services from her such as traditional massage to hot rock massage as well as cupping. She's also a very talented yoga instructor and there is literally no one who compares!

A magical space where I love to go for a massage. Venus has the most healing hands and energy. I've seen a lot of massage therapists during my life and I can tell you, she is very special. It's more than just a massage, it's a total readjustment of the physical, emotional, and spiritual.

I had the most amazing experience today. I am a massage therapist myself and do not get enough self care when needed. Venus , always goes above and beyond with her ability to give my body the therapy that it needs. Also , her energy if so contagious. I love that I can learn from her every time I go in to see her.

I’ve been practicing yoga with Venus and Dustin for months now. I cherish them and their studio for sharing their lives with me. They make me want to be a better person and live a healthier life style. I’m in trauma recovery from an old accident and I have tried everything to make my body feel good and be pain free.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
