From the reviews

You will not regret booking Alexis! It's hard to find a masseuse strong enough for my liking, but she was great. She also specializes in the Buccal technique - you may not know you need it, but you likely do. :) Alexis is a special find, I'll definitely be back!

★★★★★ — Colleen, Apr 2026

I highly recommend Salve Bodywork + Massage—Alexis is a skilled professional with magic in her hands! I had not had a massage in decades, but as menopause put my body through the wringer, I began looking for ways to feel better.

★★★★★ — Christine, May 2025

Hands down the best massage I’ve ever had! I went in with soreness and stiffness in my face and head that I didn’t even realize I was carrying until she addressed it and I felt so much lighter afterward.

★★★★★ — Dani, Feb 2026

After seeing a chiropractor, other massage therapists, a physical therapist, my dentist, and an ENT doctor I finally found Alexis to find relief from my TMJ issues. She took time to understand my specific issues and tailored her approach to my needs.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
