What clients say about the cupping here
“Corey's extremely knowledgeable, and he truly listens and wants to improve my quality of life.”
From the reviews
Corey and the staff at Sage Wellness & Light are amazing. His knowledge and desire to help people is unmatched. I have been visiting there weekly for the last several months for PEMF and massage therapy to assist with recovery from 2 major foot surgeries last year.
Went once and became a regular. Corey and Amanda are consummate professionals with expert dedication to their practice. My cervical spine pain has been significantly mitigated by their amazing work. Highly recommend!
Corey is the absolute best. He has been helping me feel the best I can with his therapeutic massaging for several years now. So grateful for him.
I've been seeing Corey for therapeutic massage for almost a year now and he's been able to help with a nagging shoulder injury that is now stronger than it's been in 10 years. My job is very physical so Corey helps me recover quickly.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
