From the reviews
Sarah is very knowledgeable in so many areas and will implement different and unique strategies to meet your needs and address your specific concerns. When I see Sarah she address exactly what I need and I benefit so much from the cupping that she does to compliment the massage.
Sarah’s bodywork always hits the mark. Whether I need something targeted or all over release, I leave in such a better place.
I have been going to Sarah at SC Wellness for years. I've had 3 spinal fusions over the past 17 years, the most recent one being a very difficult recovery. I was in constant, extreme pain, and nothing the doctors were doing was helpful. So I went to Sarah and explained the situation.
Sarah is amazing. Her attention to details and her knowledge of different techniques is best in class. She listens to her clients and provides the treatment that is custom to their needs. The studio is so warm and calming that you can’t help but feel so refreshed after just one session.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
