From the reviews

Katherine is an amazing therapist. She took the time to chat with me before the session and find out exactly the kind of work I was looking for and it very much made a huge difference in the session. The atmosphere was also lovely and the pressure was just what I needed. Highly recommend!

Kay did a great job of relieving my head ache with her magical neck work. I have seen so many therapists between medically prescribed to massage.. Kay is the first therapist who actually listened to my needs and focused her work on the areas that were truly nothing me.

★★★★★ — Alanna, Sep 2022

Loved my experience at rose quartz! Kay was very communicative and I felt like I got exactly the care I wanted (and needed!) The room itself was very beautiful and relaxing. I felt safe and comfortable, which is a big deal. Best massage in a long time!

★★★★★ — Sara, Aug 2023

I have had tons of massages because of back issues and my massage with Kay was by far the best one! She took her time to talk with me about where my pain was and definitely addressed all of my discomfort. Would highly recommend!!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
