What clients say about the cupping here
“I've received a lot of bodywork in the past, and quite a few acupuncture treatments, and she is among the most thorough and approachable practitioners that I've worked with.”
“She genuinely cares, listens, and takes her time to get to know you.”
“She’s helped calm the excess wind energy that caused anxiety and tremors and helped me in healing from chronic anemia through the acupuncture treatments and herbs.”
“As someone with a needle phobia, I was a little nervous, but Jessica made sure I was comfortable and kept me in the loop the entire time.”
From the reviews
Working with Jessica has been such a wonderful experience. I’d had acupuncture before but never felt much. It seemed mechanical, like the practitioner was just placing needles. With Jessica, it’s completely different. She genuinely cares, listens, and takes her time to get to know you.
Jessica is such a talented practitioner! I felt her presence and her sincere care. Her attention to detail was much appreciated. We did several appointments with acupuncture and accompanied by suggested herbal supplements.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Jessica Watson for almost a year now for hormone imbalance, nervous system regulation, and digestive issues. The support has been so transformative.
Jessica was incredible! As someone with a needle phobia, I was a little nervous, but Jessica made sure I was comfortable and kept me in the loop the entire time. I’m so glad I pushed through my initial phobia and experienced this, I had a wonderful experience and learned so much about how our bodies are connected.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
