From the reviews
I always leave the table feeling like I'm floating. Chris' attention to your present needs, the soothing environment you are invited into and the variety of modalities she has in her bag to help your body are all reasons to get on her table ASAP. Treat yourself.
I've been getting a massage a month since July 2017. Chris focuses on treating problem areas and provides excellent education. I recommend all my family & friends to go see Chris at Roots & Branches! 5 stars!
Chris is incredibly attuned to your body's needs. An entire hour of relaxation, comfortable atmosphere and healing hands. Highly recommended.
What a lovely place!! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Pause and will definitely stay here in the future when I visit Raystown Lake! The breakfast was excellent and matches that of a 5 star resort, minus the price!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
