From the reviews
Rooted Wellness has truly been a blessing for our family. From the moment I started seeing Dr. Jones during my pregnancy, I felt genuinely cared for, heard, and supported. Pregnancy can be incredibly uncomfortable, but Dr.
Dr. Sky is new to Rooted Wellness, but I've had the privilege of being her patient the past 3 years. All three of my children and my husband go to her as well. She is the absolute best! Dr. Sky listens and she is great with kids. So glad she is has come to San Angelo!
Dr. Melissa Jones is phenomenal. She helped me when I was in excruciating pain while pregnant and gave me massive relief to be able to walk again pain free from my back issues I’ve dealt with for years.
Melissa is truly the best!! Me and my children have seen her since I was pregnant with my first over 7 years ago! Each of my kids have known her since birth and we regulars! She is wonderful with listening to and attuning to where you need attention in your body.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
