From the reviews
If you're looking for an exceptional massage therapist, look no further than Rooted Touch! Tish is hands down one of the most talented and intuitive professionals I’ve ever encountered.
I've been to Rooted Touch several times now and I've enjoyed every session. The environment is clean, relaxing, and welcoming. Tish does an excellent job and is so friendly, kind and knowledgeable. She listens to concerns and is able to find the areas that need attention.
Tish is the best massage therapist I've ever worked with. I see her regularly, and each time is consistently incredible. Before each massage she asks where you're feeling discomfort, concentrates there, and then finds new areas you didn't know needed attention.
I recently had the pleasure of receiving a massage from Tish at Rooted Touch. From the moment I stepped in the room, I felt welcomed and comfortable. She was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable from start to finish. The massage itself was unbelievably relaxing.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
