From the reviews

I came in experiencing neuropathy in my whole body. The heaviest bit of nerve damage was in my right hand. Rona and Albert have quickly made my life manageable again. Once weekly, I receive benefits from acupuncture (then cupping). And once weekly, I get a tuina massage.

I would give 10 stars if I could ⭐️ I have been going to Rona’s Acupuncture Clinic for at least 7+ years. Rona is the absolute best at what see does. Her background and extension knowledge help her to shine like the bright star she is.

★★★★★ — Melanie, May 2023

I was having some back pain and shoulder pain and I went to Rona and had both acupuncture and cupping treatment. My pain diminished significantly. I would highly recommend Rona's Acupuncture Clinic. Se was terrific professional and very effective. I couldnt have been more satisfied with the results.

Mine was not an experience, it was a wake up call that Rona answered. I had an acute upper back pain that would not go away. One week with acupuncture, gone. My whole back used to be tense as a rock, two weeks in to the program, gone. Rona is extremely professional and has a gift like no other.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
