From the reviews
Dr. Lydia is truly exceptional. After undergoing surgical meniscus repair, I was struggling with a prolonged recovery, along with back and hip pain linked to my knee.
I came to Dr. Lydia about 7months ago after my knee started binding from squatting. I had a history of knee injuries on both of my knees. During the initial visit Dr. Lydia was super friendly and welcoming. She took her time to understand my injury and concerns. She is very companionate with her craft.
I have to share how incredible my experience has been! My massage therapist Danielle's technique is absolutely amazing — she blends cupping, stretching and massage in a way that I’ve never experienced before. I’ve seen a lot of massage therapists over the years, but this is by far the BEST experience I’ve ever had.
Very excellent and clean work space, Dr. Guirges is very professional and friendly. I've had many chiropractors over 10 years and she is the most thorough of them all. Since I've been going to her I've been able to increase my range of motion in my hips and shoulders.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
