“Dry needling and the correct balance of flexibility and strengthening exercises appear to be helping with the lingering soreness in shoulder and neck.”
What clients say about the cupping here
“Jonathan Taylor has been so helpful in helping me gain strength and mobility back, and I have noticed tangible results in my day to day life!”
“The entire team at Revitalized Performance is knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in your goals.”
“He is always willing to explain anything I ask him to clarify and is patient when I ask him to repeat an exercise so I can get it right (especially watching me lose my balance over and over).”
“He is also approachable which allows for a bigger margin of vulnerability which I think is important because it is scary to be in pain in front of someone you aren't comfortable with.”
“Shortly after completing my second half marathon and PR’ing, my knee began to have issues to the point I couldn’t run more than a mile.”
“Out-of-network PT is worth the cost.”
“It can be a bit tricky to find the first time, since it's a large building with multiple entrances and a huge parking lot.”
From the reviews
…She used dry needling, cupping, and built a personalized exercise program that actually addressed the root of my pain not just the symptoms. For the first time, I felt like I had a clear plan and real progress.
…The wholistic approach of at-home stretches, dry needling, cupping, and strength training has been a game changer. I’m really glad I sought help when I needed it and that RP was there! Jen and Cheri are also so helpful when it comes to scheduling and checking in/out.
I work in a health care facility and know that PT is highly recommended for almost all diagnoses and injuries, and when I injured my back during a run, I knew it was going to be the first step to my recovery process.
I met Frankie with Revitalized Performance about a year ago at a CrossFit Gym. I had been really limited with many movements due to shoulder injuries (different injuries on each shoulder).
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
