From the reviews
I love Melody's massages. I'm so glad she's back in the area. She helps my sore back and shoulders. I'm so relaxed and renewed when I leave.
I was referred to Melody by a friend and decided to make an appointment. What a delight. It was the most thorough massage I have ever had. I have been going to Hand and Stone for many years in Florida and now Michigan and, have had massages in the UK and Hong Kong, She will certainly be my “go to” from now on and…
Melody is an amazing massagist. I have known her for years. Professional, kind and talented. Gonna miss her as she has moved. However if you’re in her area, go check her out.
Melody is great! I go once a month and I look forward to the relaxing massage! I feel it is very helpful for my aging body! I enjoy the Symphony of Cells!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
