With the on going COVID situation and the stress from work, I began to develop pain on the lower end of my back. The pain wasn’t getting better at all. It hurt to even walk more than a block at the time. I decided to finally check out the chiropractor (found them via Yelp).
I was referred to Reform due to an accident I had been in recently. I had never been to a chiropractor and had only heard horror stories up until actually going in. I am very happy to say that the staff there were absolutely incredible.
OMG i love Dr. Sanchez he is so amazing! So happy i found him, I went in with neck and shoulder pain from an injury i got at the gym and Dr. Sanchez was able to fix me in just a few visits! He does not drag out treatment just to pad his bill (like other chiros I've been to), he actually wants you to get better!
Reform Chiropractic is the best location, that I've ever taken my mom with her hip issues, I take her every month and she has only been better ever since, and counting. The staff and all the professionals are great, they treat you like family, they genuinely care.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
