I started coming to Dr. Rauch a few years back after being in an auto accident and getting no relief through other outlets including previous chiropractors. He has helped both Ronnie and I tremendously with our back and neck problems.
I am a 31 year old male with a very sport oriented background and upbringing. I have always been in relatively good physical condition. At about 29 or so I started having difficulty breathing with shortness of breath coming up ever so often. A lot of times I was just sitting in my car driving when I noticed it.
Dr. Rauch is a phenomenal chiropractor. After seeing a different chiropractor for two years with no progress, I decided to get a second opinion with Dr. Rauch. He took several xrays of my spine to diagnose what was wrong, and put together a comprehensive plan to fix it.
Rauch Chiropractic is amazing. Thad and his team truly care for their patients, listen to their concerns, complete a full examination, and then explain what's going on and how they recommend proceeding. They are not quick to treat until they have fully checked out the patient and developed a plan of treatment.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
