From the reviews
I have been receiving treatments from Miss Tasha for several years now. She has a unique way of treating her clients utilizing the different modalities of which has taken her years to developed. First and foremost she is an Acupuncturist, that alone is helpfull for managing (and curing) a host of health issues.
The wellness center was very welcoming & calm. They offer a variety of Teas & Coffee while you wait for your appointment. Tasha was wonderful! I've had previous acupuncture & massage therapies for prior injuries but not all at once!
I went to see Tasha of Quiet Waters due to lingering issues after an accident I was in. Tasha addressed things that my physical therapy didn’t. I noted a marked improvement by the next day, I could grip smaller objects easier. I will be back for my next session to hasten my recovery.
Lee Tasha’s hands are truly a God send, I had pain in my neck, shoulders and lower back. Every time she works on me it’s like she gets better and better, she’s like the Labron James of holistic medicine!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
