Why Qi Acupuncture & Wellness is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “se points help balance "chi," the body’s vital energy, which flows through pathways called meridians. By restoring the natural flow of energy, acupuncture promotes healing, reduces pain, and supports overall well-being. Cupping Cupping is…” source →

This healing modality is exceptionally effective. As a former soldier and athlete, I have found this practice to be remarkably beneficial in alleviating injuries. For comprehensive healthcare needs, this is the premier facility.

CK is amazing. After falling from a collapsed bench last year, CK’s unwavering hope, positivity & expertise was an integral part of my healing. His palpation skills, cupping & stretching continues to be a significant part of my overall wellness. After 2 months of twice a week sessions, I’ve been on monthly maintenance.

★★★★★ — Michele, Mar 2025

CK is the acupuncturist at Qi Acupuncture, and you won’t find a more genuinely caring practitioner in the area. He focuses on long-term health rather than quick fixes, and each session is thoughtfully tailored.

★★★★★ — Robert, May 2026

I’ve been seeing CK for some time now, and I can genuinely say that he has had a profound impact on my overall well-being. From general aches and pains to more complex, lingering issues like long COVID, his treatments have provided real relief and lasting results.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
