From the reviews

Dr Ann is amazing. I've been coming here for a couple of months now and have decided to make every Monday afternoon a standing appointment. Her knowledge of the human anatomy and the function of how it works in regards to her craft is fantastic. I say craft because it's more than a profession to her.

I went to Anna after a bad skateboard wipeout and a seriously injured shoulder that was keeping me from surfing. Anna is the real deal - she takes a holistic approach to a client's health and addressed all my nagging health issues - food allergies, damaged shoulder (all better) , enlarged prostate, and overall...

★★★★★ — Nathan, Feb 2016

Dr Anna, deserves a 10-Star rating. One of the most caring, knowledgeable, genuine healthcare provider you ever meet. I was referred to her by my Primary Care Physician over a year and a half ago, for my chronic Shoulder pain that no other Treatment helped. Ever since, We have worked through many other health issues.

★★★★★ — Mona, Mar 2021

I see Anna regularly and I have to say, I feel like I am not the same person any more. I have found so much relief coming here. Her technique is incredible and her knowledge in acupuncture and chinese medicine is immense! She is always striving to learn more and to share that knowledge, which I find very impressive.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
