From the reviews
I struggled with lower back pain and Connie’s massage therapy helped relieve the pain by a lot! I haven’t tried the acupuncture yet, but I would definitely give it a try. Dr. Wu and Dr. Cui both seemed super friendly and professional. The overall atmosphere and experience was definitely calming and relaxing.
I had been struggling with TMJ disorder for quite some time, experiencing constant jaw pain and tension that affected my daily life. After starting treatment with Dr. Wu at Prosperous Acupuncture Clinic, I noticed an incredible improvement. Dr. Wu is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and caring.
I highly recommend this acupuncture clinic! The environment is clean, peaceful, and very relaxing. The staff is kind and professional, and I always feel well taken care of during my visits. Dr. Jessie Wu is incredibly skilled. I came in with neck and shoulder pain from breastfeeding after giving birth.
Came in with constant low back pain and sciatica from desk work, could barely sit through meetings. The acupuncturist actually listened, asked detailed questions about my routine, then did a mix of acupuncture and some focused work along my hip and leg.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
