“Every session has also involved some kind of hands-on manipulation or dry needling that has dissolved my deep skeptical distrust of this kind of work and turned me into a believer.”

“He designed custom lifting and mobility programs tailored to my specific needs, not only helping me recover but also putting me in a better position than I was before surgery.”
“As a practicing physical therapist, I immediately recognized Marc’s approach as fundamentally different from the standard care I had experienced elsewhere.”
“I was so impressed with both his understanding of anatomy and physiology and his ability to explain things to me more thoroughly than my physicians.”
“He helped me navigate the orthopedic world to eventually choose to have a total hip replacement at age 52, and he helped me strengthen my body in ways that supported rapid recovery post-surgery.”
From the reviews
After over three months of debilitating lower back and hip pain caused by weightlifting—and multiple unsuccessful attempts with other providers—I found Marc at ProMotion. Within just two visits, I noticed significant improvement, and in roughly one month, my chronic pain was nearly completely resolved.
I’ve been working with Marc on and off for the past few years, and I can confidently say he’s one of the best physical therapists out there. My journey started after a lower back injury I first sustained in the military, which I later aggravated during a CrossFit workout.
I've been seeing Marc for just about a year now. I initially went to him for some shoulder pain, but ultimately has helped with post ACL rehabilitation and migraines. My shoulder pain was onset by crossfit style movements. Overhead and pushing movements were extremely painful.
I’ve been working with Marc for a little over a year now, and I can honestly say his skill in the field is unmatched. As a college baseball player, I came to him with a flexor tendon issue in my elbow that eventually required surgery.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
