Why ProHealth Chiropractic is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “massage method, whereas the name suggests – the massage therapist will use heated stones to add warmth and comfort, aiding in relaxation and muscle tension relief. Soon our therapist will be certified in the practice of cupping, as well.…” source →

From the reviews

I had been in an accident and also had scoliosis and other severe problems that I had pretty much given up hope on until I had been referred to Dr. Matt by a friend of mine. After the first visit, I felt miraculously better. I could even concentrate better, and my migraines are almost all gone.

Matt is the best!!! I had been dealing with a severe case of sciatica and was feeling hopeless. My doctor wanted me to have surgery and I did not feel good about that. I had been going to Matt for about 2 months and like a miracle from God he fixed me up and I'm doing great. I recommend him to anybody and everybody.

★★★★★ — Ron, Nov 2025

Dr. Matt is very kind and he takes the time to listen to you. I was in severe pain and felt better after my first treatment. I was almost 100% after a few treatments. I go regularly now for maintenance. The office is very clean and the free snacks are amazing. 😁

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
