From the reviews
Tai chi classes with Laura Hudak are inspirational! She is amazing at finding adaptations for a body's capabilities, even if those capabilities change from the beginning to the end of a class period. She is adept at finding modifications for any type of mobility issue, while simultaneously making you feel valued.
Our daughter, a recruited Division I Swimmer, had been working with a "big box" PT for about 7 months. After showing little progress, we sought a second opinion. Kari came highly recommended so we inquired about her processes and after the initial assessment/session, our daughter felt immediate relief.
I have worked with Kari for years and she always takes the the time to identify the source of my issues prior to treatment. Having someone you know and can trust is super important for me and that's what makes Kari and Claire so great. Very thankful for all Kari has done to keep me active. Highly recommend!
I am always glad to visit Prevail Physical Therapy: a clean, well-equipped, welcoming place with great physical therapists. Jenny Lennon is very knowledgeable and went above and beyond in helping with my health and fitness. She is a good listener and observant in detecting and resolving the issue.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
