From the reviews
I had achilles surgery February 10th as soon as I was able to start therapy I chose Premier Therapy in Bellefonte. My first meeting was with Nick who did all the measurements and set up my plan. Cycling through their staff as they expertly followed the game plan.
My returning to Premier Therapy a second time for help with a different injury is the best positive rating! Staff is friendly, organized and professional. Each visit's therapy is planned in advance. Any question regarding treatment is immediately answered. Personally feel my therapy success is their goal.
Friendly staff that really care about their patients comfort and well-being. They always explain what we are doing in a way that is understandable. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a physical therapy!
I've been there now for 3 separate injuries. Fantastic service. Ask Tim about the PRRT technique. He has helped me a lot with it.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
