I reached out to Keyon for help and advice after battling persistent running injuries through several training cycles. I couldn’t be happier with the treatment I received.
I can't say enough positive things about Keyon and Premier Mobile Therapy! I went there looking for help after a shoulder injury and some back issues. I was afraid I was going to further injure my shoulder once I started back up at the gym and was looking for guidance on the safest / best way to strengthen my body.
I give Premier Mobile Therapy a 10/10. Of all the PT I have had in my life, my experience at Premier Mobile Therapy has been the best by far. Keyon is an incredibly gifted physical therapist.
He is very thorough in his intake and looks at the whole body and person, not just the acute issue. On our second visit, he was very encouraging, which kept up the motivation to continue with the home exercises. He was very calm and sensitive when walking through the dry needling to reduce anxiety.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
