From the reviews
When I arrived at Prairie Rehabilitation, I was in rough shape due to bulging discs which severely impacted my quality of life. The staff patiently guided me back to a point where I am much more functional and can manage the pain with the exercises they prescribed.
In the morning, I'm going to Prairie Rehab in Brandon, SD for my final day of physical therapy. It's been a long haul, but thanks to the marvelous team at Prairie Rehab, I am back to normal and feeling great.
I had therapy for both knee replacements in 2024, as well as for a semi-related back issue - all of the staff at Prairie Rehab in Brandon are absolutely top-notch. They took time to listen to my concerns and did their best to select exercises and treatments best suited for what I was experiencing that day.
The entire team at Prairie Rehab are personable and professional. I am currently in rehab after a full knee replacement. Michele, Nichol, and Austin, have been incredible to work with. They display their knowledge and professionalism every day I see them.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
