From the reviews
I brought my 72-year-old mother to Posture Clinic Abq to help her with her pain due to shoulder tendinitis. She could not move her arms without experiencing excruciating pain for 4 days. Thank God for Jacqueline!
I had an amazing medical and relaxation massage at Posture Clinic ABQ. Jacqueline is incredibly knowledgeable in posture and sports medicine, and it truly shows in her work. She took the time to assess my posture and helped me begin addressing my tech neck issues in a way that felt both effective and relaxing.
As a mother, I wholeheartedly recommend Posture Clinic Abq for teenage athletes. Their expertise is invaluable in keeping my child healthy and performing at their best. With a deep understanding of young athletes' needs and a supportive approach, J. Nolte is truly exceptional.
Jacqueline was excellent. This was my first visit and I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. She was so in touch with how I was feeling and understanding how my body tension. I will recommend her to everyone! For the hour I got a gift message, but I would definitely pay the price. Very reasonable price, very friendly!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
