I was recently diagnosed with a mild form of epilepsy. My neurologist wanted me to start taking a medication for my seizures, but I was not ready to have my life altered with this medication. I wanted for find a different form of treatment and I looked into Dr. Hindman.
Dr. Hindman worked a miracle on me. I had some serious GI issues going on and after one acupuncture session, my tummy troubles were over! THANK YOU, Dr. Hindman! I also receive acupuncture for fertility and am making huge progress with my cycles.
Highly recommended for chiropractic care! Dr. Hindman is great at what she does and very knowledgable! She's caring and takes the time to cater to her patients which I haven't found at any other practices I've personally been to! She gives chiropractic care a good name with her methods as they are very effective!
Dr Hindman is an amazing listener and has a great bedside manner. She also offers other services besides acupuncture and chiropractor work such as ordering lab work, which can provide some additional insight into what may be ailing you.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
