From the reviews
I recently started experiencing discomfort in my shoulders and lower back and was recommended Dr. Bodine by a friend. I was immediately impressed by her bedside demeanor and how professional she is. I’ve done a few sessions and I’m already seeing progress in my shoulders and lower back with her adjustments and cupping.
I started seeing Dr. Lex for my low back pain. She took the time to listen to everything I had to say, and did an exam to help get to the root of the pain. Not only did she help me recover from this pain, she helped me strengthen the injured muscles to reduce the chance of me re-injuring myself.
You will have a hard time finding another chiropractor who listens and is capable of putting themself in your shoes to understand your injury the way that Dr. Lex does. She is amazing with soft tissue work and will have you feeling better in no time! I would highly recommend her to anyone!
Dr. Bodine is very knowledgeable and friendly. She has definitely helped me with my lower back and hip pain. If you are looking for a chiropractor who actually cares about your health and wellness then I would definitely recommend going to see Dr. Bodine.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
