From the reviews
I’ve had a wonderful experience at Pins and Needles Acupuncture. Holland is truly passionate about his craft—he always makes sure I feel heard and comfortable, and he takes the time to address all of my medical concerns. His treatments have helped me manage migraines, joint pain, and anxiety effectively.
I met Holland, the owner of Pins and Needles, in April, 2025. I walked into his office bent over in pain, relying on a cane to walk at all. After a short intake, he performed his techniques. I left his office PAIN FREE an hour later.
I went to Holland because I had a painful issue of Tennis Elbow. Holland was able to relieve the pain with the sessions of acupuncture. Within a few months, the pain was completely gone. My elbow feels great! I highly recommend Holland to anyone looking to feel better!
I am impressed with Holland's knowledge and caring. He has been a life saver, with my knee pain before replacement surgery. Makala and Holland make a great team for your ongoing health journey in Eastern medicine. Thanks,
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
