From the reviews
I highly recommend PHYT FF CLE. I receive care from Cara and Dr. Eric at the CrossFit CLE branch, and both are amazing, very attentive to my specific needs and very knowledgeable in dry needling w/ & w/o stimulation, cupping, scraping and other therapies.
Went to see Cara for the first time for some nagging hamstring relief. I am so glad I did! After her assessment, she did cupping and needling, and kept at it until the nagging went away for me. Very happy with everything at the visit and offered a couple exercises to do while at home to keep the pain at bay.
I was struggling with my overhead position in weight lifting with shoulder and hip pain. During my visit Cara took the time to identify my movement pattern issues , addressed the issues with Cupping and Dry needles, and prescribed a home recovery regimen to ensure the issues do not return.
I’ve been in chronic pain due to computer posture on the right side of my body for over ten years. It’s funny because normally I have to have therapy done like dry needling or massage every week to feel somewhat better but with Eric, Dr.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
