From the reviews
I am writing to applaud an excellent therapist Jasmine, who has worked patiently with me alternating with other therapists over June and July 2025. Jasmine is always upbeat, energetic, friendly, and able to amicably chat while guiding me through an interesting array of exercises, some not challenging but a few more so!
I have been doing aquatic PT with Michelle at the Greendale Y and “land” PT, primarily with Ashley, in Holden. They are both wonderful, fun to work with, and so helpful. They have helped me with using the correct form for the exercises and have made recommendations when they felt further evaluation might be needed.
Great team in Holden! Rebecca at the front desk, always friendly and asks how you are doing! Very helpful when I needed to reschedule appointments. Madison--My PT PRO!! Recovered ahead of schedule because of her care. Loved our conversations, kept my mind off the recovery pain.
I have been at PTI for physical therapy twice for different issues in the past months. My overall assessment of my care is that I found the three people that I have met there to be professional, caring, and good people.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
